Actually, I’ve not done photography; I’m doing it only now.

I’ve studied painting and cinematography. The one photography exhibition I did was very specific; I took the images just for the exhibition. Even now, I only do mobile photography, which is very personal. I’ve never done photography for the sake of it.

So you’ve never used photography deliberately as a creative medium?

Not really, no.

Well, I’d done a bit of black and white photography when I was in the institute, shooting and processing film.
